Bryan Singer Accused of Sexually Assaulting 17-Year-Old Boy
Dec 08 2017 by Francis Osborne
"As a result of the misconduct and unlawful acts described herein, Plaintiff has suffered, and continues to suffer, general and special damages", the Pacific Northwest filing on behalf of Cesar Sanchez-Guzman says.
Cesar Sanchez-Guzman claims Singer sexually assaulted him in 2003, at a party on a yacht owned by Lester Waters. According to the legal complaint, Singer told the minor that no one would believe him if he reported the incident, and he threatened to hire people who could potentially ruin Sanchez-Guzman's reputation if he spoke out.
The famed X-Men director is well known for hosting lavish parties attended by young men you might call "twinks".
The suit claims Singer offered to take Guzman, who was 17 at the time, on a tour of the yacht.
Mystery Salvator Mundi buyer was a Saudi prince
Normally, news of a wealthy and powerful member of Saudi Arabia's royal family buying a piece of art would not raise any interest. The painting, one of fewer than 20 surviving by the Renaissance Master, sold for $450m at Christie's in NY on 15 November.
US Healthcare Spending Hit $3.3T in 2016
But that it only grew at a rate of 4.3% - down from the 5.1% and 5.8% spending growth rates seen in 2014 and 2015, respectively. Retail prescription spending increased 1.3% in 2016, growing to $328.6 billion - roughly 10% of overall health spending.
When alone in one of the rooms, Singer, according to Guzman, "pulled out his penis, smacked Guzman in the face with it and forced it into his mouth".
Reps for Singer have been contacted by Metro.co.uk but they have not yet responded; reps told TMZ that Sanchez-Guzman's lawyers was the same man who represented Michael Egan, who had previously accused Singer of sexual misconduct but then withdrew his claims. The allegations did not hold up in court, and the charges were ultimately dismissed. Guzman says he again pleaded with Singer to stop, to no avail.
The lawsuit seeks undisclosed damages for "emotional distress, mental anguish, physical and mental pain and suffering, a decrease in his ability to enjoy life, past and future medical expenses, attorneys' fees and costs, and other general and special damages". Another man claimed in 2014 that Singer raped him when he was a teenager, but that lawsuit was later withdrawn by the accuser.
The lawsuit comes just days after Singer was sacked from directing the Freddie Mercury biopic "Bohemian Rhapsody" after vanishing from set.
