Firewatch Developer's Next Game Is In the Valley of Gods
Dec 08 2017 by Joanne Wise
Campo Santo, the studio behind hit indie adventure Firewatch, unveiled its next game In the Valley of Godsat The Game Awards with a first look trailer. The protagonist is an explorer and filmmaker who travels to the desert, alongside an old partner, to seek out "a seemingly-impossible discovery and an incredible film". At the end of the road, the pair record an Indiana Jones-style trick of sunlight and ingenious ancient construction.
Campo Santo doesn't have a release date for In the Valley of the Gods yet, but you can keep track of its progress on the game's website. In the Valley of Gods is an adventure unlike anything we've ever made and we can't wait for you to play it.
Baker Mayfield named AP Player of the Year
This season, Mayfield has led the No. 2 Sooners (12-1) to the Big 12 championship and the College Football Playoff. That's San Diego State's Rashaad Penny (2,027), who also leads in yards from scrimmage with 2,169.
The Game Awards 2017 are underway tonight.
The only bad news, is that 2019 or later release window. We learned what's next for Campo Santo, the Firewatch developer. Like before, it's a first-person perspective with some exploration going on.
