Campo Santo, the studio behind hit indie adventure Firewatch, unveiled its next game In the Valley of Godsat The Game Awards with a first look trailer. The protagonist is an explorer and filmmaker who travels to the desert, alongside an old partner, to seek out "a seemingly-impossible discovery and an incredible film". At the end of the road, the pair record an Indiana Jones-style trick of sunlight and ingenious ancient construction.

Campo Santo doesn't have a release date for In the Valley of the Gods yet, but you can keep track of its progress on the game's website. In the Valley of Gods is an adventure unlike anything we've ever made and we can't wait for you to play it.
