INTERACTIVE MAP: Lilac Fire rips through North San Diego County

The fire was first reported around 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7 near the rural community of Bonsall and has grown to 150 acres amid gusts of up to 35 miles per hour.
The California Highway Patrol closed down SR-76 from Gird Road to Old Highway 395 and blocked off the latter route between West Lilac Road and SR076, according to Cal Fire. Air and ground resources are assisting.
No injuries or structure damage has been reported.
Authorities cleared people out of communities near the fire. The nearby Sullivan Middle School and Bonsall High School have been evacuated, along with other nearby areas. Students are being evacuated to Fallbrook High School gymnasium at 2400 South Stage Coach Lane in Fallbrook.

A brush fire burning in San Diego County on Thursday afternoon, December 7, had burned two structures, damaged 12 others and prompted evacuations, Cal Fire said in a Twitter message.
