Huawei 2018 Roadmap Leaks, Will Launch 3 Variants of the P20 Series
Dec 27 2017 by Joanne Wise
We were already expecting a MWC 2018 unveiling, since Huawei has used the smartphone show as a base to launch its previous P-series phones and an "early 2018" release will certainly line up with this. As we are nearing the end of this year, the company's roadmap for the next year has been leaked.
In the second quarter, Huawei plans to bring the new P-series to the market.
In the first quarter of 2018, the Chinese company plans to launch the Mate 10 Pro and Mate 10 Lite available in more global markets.
Given the current smart phone market around the world, the era of full screen display has arrived, and consumers will adapt with the changes to get the most brilliant display. Also, a new Huawei A2 fitness band is expected to be announced in Q1 as well, along with a new Huawei 360 Camera, the so-called Huawei Scale (an accessory) and Huawei B618 wireless router. The image of the roadmap also shows Huawei B525, that could be a wireless router. Along with these three P series smartphones, another Honor smartphone will be launched in the second quarter.
As we mentioned, Israeli website Gadgetyreported on Tuesday that Huawei has plans to unveil the Huawei P20 flagship series in 2018. The P20 will likely be powered by Huawei's own Kirin 970 high performing processor with AI capabilities, along with Leica branded shooters both on the front and back of the device. While there is no confirmation on the same, a presentation detailing all the launches for the next year was spotted online.
