We are watching a fast moving low pressure area that will quickly move through the area late Friday night into Saturday morning. While a good chunk of the day could remain dry, some light rain is possible towards the afternoon or evening hours. Temperatures will begin in the low to mid 50's and fall to freezing or below by evening drive time. After sunrise, conditions will slowly improve and temperatures will steadily rise into the upper 30s by 4 p.m. If the cold air gets here fast enough before the rain ends, some snowflakes could mix in Friday afternoon. Temperatures will surpass the freezing mark early in the day, ending that threat.
Temperatures climb until a cold front passes Saturday. Cloud cover trapped in that heat overnight so Monday morning started off with temperatures in the upper 20s and lower 30s.
