Taylor and his all-star band, with special guest Bonnie Raitt, will perform July 1 at the KeyBank Center, 1 Seymour H Knox III Plaza. Yet songwriting stayed with Taylor past his most popular periods. Tickets to the Tampa show start at $66 and go on sale at 10 a.m. January 19. In his review of the show in The Star, critic Bill Brownlee wrote: "The blues artist who briefly became an unlikely pop star with the release of her tenth album "Nick of Time" in 1989 dug deep throughout a vibrant performance that lasted nearly two hours".
In 2017, Raitt toured in Australia, New Zeland, Hawaii, Canada and across the US, which included 17 tour dates with Taylor.
Taylor broke out as a star with the release of his second album, "Sweet Baby James", in 1970. Both artists have won multiple Grammy awards, and their tour last summer sold out across the country. Visit ticketmaster.com for more details.
