But they also offer always-on LTE connections, which is a throwback to a once-common laptop feature, a built-in data connection, that's been rarely seen in recent years.
What's immediately uncanny about the Miix 630 is its close resemblance to Microsoft's own 2-in-1 Surface lineup.
Lenovo has announced the Miix 630, the company's latest Windows 10 S 2-in-1 detachable that delivers the power and productivity of a laptop and the always on, always connected mobility of a smartphone.
The Lenovo Miix 630 will now be available in two different options; one will have 4GB RAM while a more premium 8GB RAM variant will also be present. The display is a 12.3-inch panel with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.
The Miix 630 looks almost identical to past Miix devices with a kickstand on the back, a backlit keyboard which is detachable, and a Lenovo-branded stylus for drawing and more precise interactions. Lenovo says the 2-in-1 can deliver up to 20 hours of video playback at 150 nits brightness.
Puel: Ihenacho needs to improve his game
Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr has urged Kelechi Iheanacho and Ahmed Musa to quit Leicester City for regular football elsewhere. Iheanacho has struggled to break into Leicester City XI since his £25m move from Manchester City in the summer.
Where the Miix 630 differs from other convertibles is its CPU, a Snapdragon 835.
Graphics and lightweight gaming are supported by the integrated Adreno 540 GPU.
The imaging department uses a 13-megapixel IR front-facing camera with Windows Hello support and a 5-megapixel rear shooter.
On the right flank sits the volume rocker toward the top, a speaker grille, and USB Type-C port. Moreover, it gives you constant connection even in standby mode, ensuring longer battery life. The device also ships with Windows 10 S preinstalled for a smoother and more secure experience, but you can upgrade to Windows 10 Pro for free within six months of you setting up the device. The Lenovo Mixx 630 will launch sometime between April and June of 2018 and the price tag will be around $799.
