Man United offered Lucas opportunity

Lucas Moura

The Paris Saint-Germain ace has been linked with a move to both Liverpool and Manchester United.

The Brazilian worldwide snubbed a move to United when he left Sao Paulo for PSG in 2013 but it looks like the Red Devils have renewed their interest with widespread reports in recent days suggesting Jose Mourinho has identified him as a January target.

That link has all but disappeared in recent years but with Jose Mourinho wanting a direct, pacy attacker to play down the right and complement the speed and penetration in other areas, Lucas seems an ideal fit.

And now Nantes President Waldemar Kita has warned the star that moving to another country this month may be a bad idea as he steps up their attempts to lure him in.

Lucas Moura has been entirely out of favour at PSG this season under Unai Emery after the Parisian club brought in Neymar and Kylian Mbappe from Barcelona and AS Monaco, respectively, in what were football's two most expensive transfers of all time.

Do you think Manchester United should move for Moura?

Globo Esporte confirm Man United negotiations for Lucas Moura! The Brazil global, however, will leave PSG only for United.

The Italian publication says all that's left is for United to agree a fee with PSG and the Premier League giants are hoping to agree terms over a deal worth in the region of £22.1m.

Moura will also be able to play in the Champions League for United as he has not even appeared in one group stage fixture for the current Ligue 1 leaders.
