Refreshed Dell Latitude lineup is faster and more functional for improved productivity

In terms of specifications and features the 2018 Dell XPS 15 comes with a brand new design. The convertible design makes it far more focused at creatives and gamers looking for an all-in-one device that can be used for everything from design work to AAA 1080p gaming.
The key difference between the two stems from their differing CPUs and graphics. The XPS 15 2-in-1 will run using one of Intel's newer 8th Gen Intel Core processors with discrete AMD Radeon RX Vega M graphics. The i5 variant (i5-8305G) is clocked at 3.8GHz and comes with 6MB Level 3 cache, while the i7 variant (i7-8705G) is clocked at 4.1GHz and comes with 8MB of Level 3 cache. Both use Intel's own integrated graphics.
When used with materials like metal, this makes things even worse, and if your machine happens to be encased in aluminium, you may end up in the middle of summer with the feeling that your computer is trying to burn your legs off when all you really wanted to do was type something down. Traditionalists who dislike shallower keyboards like this may want to consider the clamshell version or the smaller XPS 13, which got a makeover this year. But when Intelunveiled the chips at the start of January it made some pretty impressive boasts and showed the RX Vega M GL chip playing AAA titles at 40fps-plus framerates in 1080p.
I liked the XPS 15 2-in-1's display - images looked vibrant and crisp during my hands-on. It's not uncommon for a manufacturer to charge extra for a stylus, but some companies like HP include a stylus in the box with their convertibles (HP packages one with the Spectre x360 15, a similarly sized and priced convertible to Dell's new device).
Featuring a slim profile with a thickness of just 16mm, the new laptop also comes with a next-generation InfinityEdge display that offers 4K resolution and covers 100% Adobe RGB color spectrum. It is also lighter for a 15-inch notebook and weighs 1.9kg. Beneath said screen is a 720p webcam paired with an infrared lens for secure Windows Hello login - and it's centered just like the new XPS 13. "There are 5000-series notebooks with 12", 14", and 15" screens, plus 12" 2-in-1 models.
Manchester City vs. Bristol City
Their return could see a more free flowing style of play from the visitors whenever they do get possession of the ball. City still have it all to do, but Guardiola says they will not be heading to Ashton Gate just defend their lead.
Who's affected by computer chip security flaw
The other, Spectre, is harder to fix, but also harder to exploit, making it less of an immediate threat to consumer devices. Researchers say one of the bugs, called Meltdown, affects almost every processor Intel has made since the mid-1990s.
For CES 2018, Dell has brought with it not only the newly revamped Dell XPS 13, but also a brand-new take on its larger model: the Dell XPS 15 2-in-1.
Dell's XPS 13 has Gore fabric insulation inside.
Pricing and availability: Dell XPS 15 2-in-1 will be available in the US on Dell.com in April starting at $1,299.99.
Which laptop is right for you?
Global details have not been announced yet, but that works out to about £960 or AU$1,650.
Specifically, Dell says the Latitude 7390 2-in-1 is 72% faster in SYSmark 2014 when compared to a similar model with a Kaby Lake two-core chip.
