US News ranks Clemson College of Education #1 national online program

Among online graduate education programs, Appalachian offers master's degrees in curriculum specialist, educational media, elementary education, higher education, middle grades education, library science, and school administration; the education specialist degrees in educational administration and higher education; and several graduate certificates in education.
U.S. News & World Report ranked Charleston Southern University's online bachelor's degree program 35th along with Ball State University, Fort Hays State University, and Regent University. The University's off-campus graduate programs engage students in both their places of employment through either real-time or self-directed collaborative learning and use of real-time work projects - the click part of the equation - and on campus - the brick - through intense immersion experiences.
For Dr. Joshua Black, executive director of the school's Division of Adult Learning which includes Lee University Online, this latest ranking is evidence of the institution's historical commitment to delivering Christ-centered education to all students.
The University of South Carolina's online education graduate program ranked tied for 76th with the University of Maine, Southeast Missouri State University, Hofstra University, Eastern Kentucky University, and Boise State University. "The program's ranking is a testament to the vision and expertise of the program's leadership and faculty".
"Our Online BBA is AACSB-accredited, offers six unique majors, and incorporates a live component during which students can interact with one another and their professors via weekly web-conferencing", Kapanjie said. S&T offers online graduate degrees in computer science and information science and technology.
"This impressive ranking confirms what we already know about UMSL: Our programs are among the best in the country in terms of affordability, flexibility and engagement", Chancellor Tom George said.
In arriving at its rankings, U.S. News & World Report considers five general categories, including student engagement; student services and technology; admissions selectivity; faculty credentials and training; and peer reputation. Prospective students can use the searchable directory to explore factors such as tuition, program offerings and online services offered to enrolled students. In addition, students can tailor the online BGS degree by choosing up to three of 24 fully online minors. As the online market expands, we also are expanding our educational opportunities to meet the needs of tomorrow's business professional.
