"The whole thing was so absurd", Robbie told Ellen DeGeneres on DeGeneres' show.

Hemsworth, 34, and Robbie, 27, sported kangaroo onesies and oversized boxing gloves for the hilarious trivia game that DeGeneres called, "Ellen's Australian Boxers".

In a nutshell: Margot and Tom were on their honeymoon in Tahiti and they made a decision to hit the gym.

On Wednesday, Robbie sat down with DeGeneres to chat about her new film, I, Tonya, when the conversation turned to the time they ran into each other while on vacation (Robbie was on her honeymoon with husband Tom Ackerley) in Tahiti. "I'm scared because my husband's going to kill me for telling this story, but it's my favorite story ever and it's the story of how Ellen and I met", she told the audience. "And they're like, really short and there's nothing underneath", she explained. Once he got on his bicycle the 27-year-old recalls saying, "Whoa, babe, you can not wear those shorts".

"Ellen looks over and goes, 'Boy, those were the wrong shorts to wear today, '" Robbie recounts.

Ellen Degeneres put them to the test on her show, in a game called Australian Boxers, featuring Robbie and Hemsworth answering a whole bunch of hard questions about Australia while wearing kangaroo onesies.

"I come across pink shorts and I'm like 'I know whose these are!'" Degeneres said. "And when you walked in and he's in those shorts I was like, 'Oh my god, this is going to be hilarious'".
