Sam's Club said through Twitter that the pharmacies located in the Sam's Club locations that are closing would remain open for a minimum of two weeks, while it works with transferring prescriptions and contacting clients.

A Walmart official says the company is closing 63 Sam's Club stores across the country, though, according to a employee at the store's Lima Road store, The Fort Wayne location will not be impacted. According to Manzi, the store was closed Thursday, will re-open Friday, and is set to close permanently on January 26. Walmart said the one-time bonuses would cost the company $400 million and will be based on length of service.
The wage change is in addition to increases already planned for many US markets in the coming fiscal year.
Walmart also announced today that it would be raising hourly wages for employees to $11. "Now, they will be eligible for 10 weeks of maternity leave at 100 percent pay and six weeks of parental leave at 100 percent pay".
