The Browns are going to be a team to watch next season if their flurry of moves Friday is any indication.
The Green Bay Packers must have seen the Browns wheeling and dealing on Friday and noticed a buying opportunity.
According to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, the Cleveland Browns, just hours after trading for Buffalo Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor, have traded away quarterback DeShone Kizer. Unclear if picks are also involved. He's spent time at both free safety and cornerback for Green Bay and can help the Browns no matter which position they decide to play him at. Kizer himself retained the starting job in Cleveland for all but one game as a rookie a year ago, tossing a league-leading 22 interceptions and completing only 54 percent of his passes.
Yet six of the Browns' 11 starters for most of the season were either rookies or second-year players, with no players having more than five years experience on the starting unit, so this could be a fresh start to learn under arguably the NFL's best passer in Rodgers. He'll compete to back up Aaron Rodgers with his new team.
