The 45-year-old hasn't personally admitted to the career move away from Hollywood but her The Sweetest Thing co-star Selma Blair has alluded to it.

Former A-list actress Cameron Diaz hasn't made a new movie in years, and fellow actress Selma Blair offers a reason why: Diaz quietly retired.

"I had lunch with Cameron the other day, we were reminiscing about the film", Blair stated.

Blair said Diaz had told her that she did not plan to make any more movies, as she wants to be with husband Benji Madden, reported Metro.

"I mean, she doesnt need to make any more films".
