New Delhi, Mar 13 President Ram Nath Kovind today condoled the death of nine CRPF personnel in naxal violence in Chhattisgarh'sSukma district and said the country remains firm in its resolve to take on and defeat all forms of terrorism. "The incident happened in the area which is the hub of Naxalites", Singh told reporters.
Six CRPF personnel were injured, out of which 4 are critical.
According to reports, the rebels looted arms and ammunition of the security force after the ambush.
On February 18, 2018, two security force personnel were killed and six injured in a gun battle with Maoists in Sukma district, the Indian Expressreported on February 18, 2018. "Seeing the response of the 208 CoBRA, the Maoists fled".
If we took back to the past then we can say that in last 11 month around 25 CRPF jawans were killed by a gang of almost 300 Naxals at a construction site in Sukma. More forces have reached the spot.
Nokia 9 could have an in-display fingerprint scanner and notch
The same source also confirms some past rumours that include Snapdragon 845 and an in-display fingerprint sensor for the Nokia 9. Rumors are rife that it can feature the same 12-megapixel dual camera module which has been made available on Nokia 8 Sirocco.
Evolution of mobile phones
Like the flip phone, it was also comprised of two parts but they came together and apart by sliding the parts on a rail. Given the fast pace of growth, the future is bound to hold even many more implications for mobile phone users.
A CRPF patrolling party was on its way from Kistaram to Palodi, in an anti-landmine vehicle, which was targeted by Maoists, said DM Awasthi, Special Director general, Anti-Naxal Operations. "I pray for speedy recovery of the injured jawans. I spoke to DG CRPF regarding the Sukma incident and asked him to leave for Chhattisgarh", he said in a tweet.
"That attack was the biggest one in the past seven years, but BJP government has not learnt any lesson", said Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala, adding that the national security situation was "a direct outcome of Modi government's aimless, irresolute and inconsistent polices".
Officials said the incident took place around 12:30 pm along the Kistaram-Palodi road of the district when the troops of the 212th battalion of the CRPF were out on an operation.
In April previous year, 25 CRPF jawans lost their lives in a Maoist attack.
The Congress also attacked the BJP government in Chhattisgarh and said it had done "nothing concrete" so far.
