Monster Hunter World To Receive First Major Update Next Week

Monster Hunter World's March 22 update brings key changes to a number of Monster Hunter World's weapon types - only the Light Bowgun and Heavy Bowgun escape untouched.

This update will also introduce balance changes for a lot of weapon types as well as give them new features. For those unfamiliar, Deviljho is a famous monster who first appeared in Monster Hunter 3. Players will also be able to participate in "daily fun activities". April will also see the Spring Blossom Fest taking place and the Mega Man Palico gear surfacing. You'll have until the end of Spring Blossom Fest on 18th April at 5pm PT (20th April, 12am GMT) to unlock the weapon. The first is for the Wyvern Ignition Great Sword, the victor of the community Weapon Design Contest. Oh, and food! You can't have a party without food, so we've added a special new platter too. Capcom has also announced future events and new items, including a Mega Man crossover.

We'll be sharing a more comprehensive list when the title update goes live.
