Russell Westbrook becomes fourth player to reach 100 triple-doubles

With a defensive rebound late in the fourth quarter Tuesday against the Hawks, Russell Westbrook of the Oklahoma City Thunder recorded his 100th career triple-double, joining an exclusive club that includes just three other members in National Basketball Association history.
What has been the most surprising is the ridiculous pace in which he's racked them up, getting a whopping 63 of his total 100 within the last two seasons - still making a major gap between him and the next best team, LeBron James' Cleveland Cavaliers. "It's always insane, man, to go on the road and just see, not just fans cheering, but just see kids in my jersey, because I never, ever imagined me playing in the league".
"The fact that this is the 100th triple-double and he's a point guard, speaks to (the fact that) his fingerprints are all over the game". I never take it for granted.
Fresh snow warning for West Sussex
It could soon be the "Isle of White" again as the Met Office issue a yellow weather warning for snow on Sunday . Ms Maxey said temperatures in some rural areas of the United Kingdom may struggle to climb above zero.
Oklahoma City took home the win over the Hawks, 119-107, and the Thunder now sit in fourth place in the Western Conference playoff race.
"It's incredible... A hundred times, and he's a point guard, speaks to just his fingerprints are all over the game", Thunder coach Billy Donovan said. That's what Russ is: a guy that's never gonna give up, and he's gonna play every possession. "It also speaks to how hard he plays".
The Thunder now have two days off before beginning a streak of 11 straight games against teams currently four-or-more games over.500.
Westbrook spoke after the game about the awesome feat he accomplished. Anthony splashed 4 of 5 3-pointers during the third quarter. "With Grant playing the entire third quarter, the Thunder only allowed 8-of-22 shooting to the Hawks and only put Atlanta to the line twice after allowing 18 free throws attempts in the first half". Grant continued a hot streak, as well, scoring 20 points. "Only the Sacramento Kings (267), Los Angeles Lakers (258), Boston Celtics (203), Philadelphia 76ers (140), Golden State Warriors (128) and Brooklyn Nets (104) have more than Westbrook's 100". "For me, being able to be a part of that, be alongside him, it's a special moment". "I think it's something that we should all appreciate".
