Chief Cosby accuser says she was too weak to 'fight him off'

Andrea Constand 44 will repeat her allegations Mr Cosby drugged and molested her after they met at his alma mater in early 2004

Bill Cosby's main accuser Andrea Constand took the stand Friday, testifying that he gave her wine and three pills before he allegedly assaulted her. And Mr. Cosby grabbed - helped me by my arm, and he assisted me over to a couch and said, 'Just relax.

Constand said in 2004 Cosby, her mentor, drugged and sexually assaulted her in his Montgomery County home.

"Were you able to verbalize and tell him to stop?"

Attorney Gloria Allred says a settlement agreement that Bill Cosby accuser Andrea Constand received shouldn't be used against her and instead should be viewed as compensation for a person "who had strong evidence she was victimized".

Cosby has said he gave Constand the cold medicine Benadryl and that she consented to a sexual encounter.

So when he went upstairs while she was in the bathroom and returned with three round blue pills, she said she assumed they were homeopathic - so-called natural remedies that are often dissolved under the tongue.

"Put them down", Cosby replied, she said, allegedly gesturing for her to swallow them with water.

She said she wanted Cosby to stop but couldn't say anything.

She said she couldn't speak and couldn't get her limbs to move.

Constand said her next memory was waking up between 4 and 5 a.m, with her bra around her neck and her trousers "half unzipped". The pills left her feeling "frozen" and unable to resist him, she said.

Jackson's testimony was rejected by the judge as hearsay in Cosby's first trial, but for the retrial she has been admitted as a defense witness. I was in shock.

Dickinson, who is now 63, has spoken publicly about her allegations against Cosby in the past, saying that he drugged her and raped her when she was 27 years old.

During almost three hours of cross-examination, which will continue on Monday, defense attorney Tom Mesereau established a total of nine face-to-face visits between Cosby and Constand before and after the alleged attack and asked whether Constand had ever seen Cosby's wife during those meetings.

"Ms. Constand, why are you here?" prosecutor Kristen Feden asked.

Janikowski, 40, became a free agent in March when the Raiders chose not to re-sign him after 18 years with the franchise. The only kicker now on Seattle's roster is Jason Myers, who was signed to a futures contract in January.

Under cross-examination, Cosby's attorney, Tom Mesereau, challenged Dickinson's testimony, pointing out her description of the Lake Tahoe encounter with Cosby differed wildly from the account in her 2002 ghostwritten memoir, No Lifeguard on Duty: The Accidental Life of the World's First Supermodel.

"My vagina was being penetrated quite forcefully", she said.

She said she was "very scared" about going to police because "he was a Temple trustee".

But the three counts against Constand is the only criminal case to stick, as most of the alleged abuse happened too long ago to prosecute.

Wearing a white blazer and coral top, the former basketball player sat erect in the witness box, calmly responding to questions from the prosecution but became more nervous under cross-examination from the defence. He was a married man and I absolutely never showed an interest. "But I wasn't threatened, and I didn't judge him".

Cosby's first trial in Norristown, a Philadelphia suburb, ended in a hung jury in June, with a sequestered panel hopelessly deadlocked after six days of testimony and 52 hours of deliberations.

The defence has called the other accusers irrelevant, urging jurors to focus only on the charges that Cosby is facing.

Constand testified she made a decision to report the assault to police in January 2005, about a year later, jarred to action by a nightmare and an increasing awareness of consent issues from her ongoing massage therapy training.

A woman who is at the center of the case against Bill Cosby is expected to take the stand on Friday in a Pennsylvania courtroom.

Cosby, she said, was "just a little bit younger than my grandfather".

Cosby's lawyers say Constand outlined her get-rich scheme to a Temple colleague, Marguerite Jackson.

On the stand Friday, Constand said she remembers having a hotel room to herself at Temple's away basketball games and did not recall ever rooming with Jackson. His lawyers have portrayed Constand as a gold-digging con artist.

Mesereau attempted to paint her as naive at best or deceptive at worst for claiming she never thought Cosby found her attractive given passes he had made, and gifts of perfume and cashmere sweaters.
