Motorola'sMoto G6 has prematurely appeared on the American and Canadian versions of Amazon earlier this week, with the two product listings originally being spotted by German tech journalist Roland Quandt.
The Moto G6 Play meanwhile is rumoured to feature a 5.7-inch HD IPS display, Snapdragon 427 processor with 2GB RAM, 16GB on-board storage, along with a 4000mAh battery. The officials said Babu had admitted the second needle had been found in his bag but that he had no idea how it got there. India were officially warned about their use of needles by the CGF at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow .
Rumored specs for the phone include an nearly 6-inch Full HD display with an 18:9 ratio, a Snapdragon 630 chipset and 6GB of RAM.
The Moto G6 Plus will be offered in Indigo and Gold, along with a dual-lens camera on the rear and a fingerprint sensor on the front. Dual-SIM card support with 32GB inbuilt storage is also likely to come on board. A recent online listing pegs the G6 at $250 (approx Rs 16,300), while the G6 Play may be priced at $200 (approx Rs 13,000).
All three phones are expected to be affordable midrangers, with the G6 sporting a Snapdragon 450 chip, 3 GB of RAM, and a 3,000 mAh battery; the G6 Play would be even more affordable with a Snapdragon 430 processor and a larger 4,000 mAh cell; and the G6 Plus would be the most powerful of the three, with a Snapdragon 630 SoC instead. The specs sound very promising and it is confirmed that this will be a mid-range smartphone from Motorola powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Not much else is known about the Plus model as yet. As the company has started sending media invites for an event in Brazil scheduled on April 19.
