Rescuers searching for missing Indian family find woman's body

A woman believed to have intentionally driven her wife and children off a cliff in the U.S. state of California was legally drunk, the local sheriff's office said. According to toxicology reports, her wife Sarah and two of their six children had a significant amount of an ingredient found in allergy medications that cause drowsiness. Five bodies were found March 26 near Mendocino, a couple days after Washington state authorities began exploring the Harts but most of these children were not instantly recovered from the spectacle along the shoreline.
In California, a person is legally drunk if they have a BAC of.08 or higher.
Devonte Hart became the center of attention after the crash.
In a statement on Thursday, police said they are continuing their efforts to search for the missing children. A specialized team of accident investigators is trying to figure that out with help from the FBI, Carpenter said.
The missing were identified as Sandeep Thottapilly, 41; Soumya Thottapilly, 38; Siddhant Thottapilly, 12; and Saachi Thottapilly, 9.

Only weeks after the Hart spouse and children perished in a deadly dip in a sea over look along the Pacific Coast Highway in Northern California, rescuers were also looking for another family feared to have driven in to water in the same county. The bodies of three of their children - Markis, 19, Jeremiah, 14, and Abigail, 14 - were found nearby.
"Several items have been positively identified, by family members, since belonging to the Thottapilly family members", it also said. Police confirmed that Jennifer, Sarah, and their three children were dead. Alexandra Argyropoulos, who told The Associated Press previously that she contacted OR child welfare officials, said in an email Friday that Jennifer Hart ran the household "like a regimented boot camp".
One of the children missing is 15-year-old Devonte Hart, whose photo hugging a police officer with tears streaming down his face during a protest went viral in 2014.
Argyropoulos wrote that as a family friend she initially thought Jennifer Hart was a loving mother. California Patrol Capt. Bruce Carpenter said Friday, April 13, 2018, that toxicology tests found Jennifer Hart had an alcohol level of.102.
