Ejaria signs new Liverpool deal and joins Gerrard at Rangers

The Gers have reportedly agreed to take Reds midfielder Ovie Ejaria on a season-long loan, which should be completed next week.

Rangers have opened talks with Connor Goldson after agreeing a £3 million fee with Brighton - but they will have to wait to land Liverpool youngster Ovie Ejaria.

He will join the former Liverpool Under 18s manager Steven Gerrard at Ibrox after the 38-year-old took charge of the Scottish giants earlier this summer.

He said: "It's a really great feeling".

Ejaria, who won the FIFA under-20 World Cup in South Korea in 2017, scored one goal in 11 appearances for Sunderland, who were relegated to the third-tier of English football last season.

Houston Rockets To Aggressively Pursue Paul George
The Thunder apparently have a legitimate chance to re-sign Paul George in free agency, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN . Another important thing that the Rockets should consider before giving Paul a max deal is his age and recurring injuries.

"It's a massive club, the club's doing really well at the moment, so it wasn't a hard decision at all".

Ejaria is an England U21 worldwide, earning his first cap earlier this year, and was part of last year's U20 World Cup-winning side.

"I would also like to say a huge thank you to everyone associated with Liverpool for the huge memories and friendships gained over two periods with the club".

Having made eight appearances for the Liverpool senior team, Ejaria is a strong athlete who likes the physical side of the game and is not afraid to use it to make surging runs forward with the ball.

Rightly so, Liverpool fans are amused by the continuous transfers between Liverpool and Gerrard's Rangers side.
