Prey 'Mooncrash' DLC Announced, New Update Out Now
Jun 11 2018 by Joanne Wise
The official Prey social accounts have been making plenty of mentions of the moon, leading many to guess that Moon-themed DLC was inevitable. The update, which will be available for all players and is called Mooncrash, will appear the next time you open the game.
The resistance has become much more technically adept and players will take up the role of a resistance hacker tasked with tearing apart the Nazi forces in Paris using their own machines against them to aid the French resistance.
Earth-sized Planets Discovered in Planetary System
EPIC 211945201b's mass is around 27 times that of Earth's and it's estimated to be around six times greater in radius. It has the name EPIC 211945201 (K2-236) and thus, the planet has been given the name EPIC 211945201B (K2-236B).
What's even better about the DLC is that it's available right now, so you don't have to wait at all to get your hands on it if you still have a copy of Prey.
Mooncrash and the free update aren't the only new things coming for Prey: a new multiplayer mode, called Typhon Hunter, will be available later this summer. It's rolling out a huge update tonight that includes three new modes - Story, New Game+, and Survival. Against all odds, Peter must escape a TranStar base rife with enemies and hazards... with the goals - and loot - changing each time you play. This loot transfers over to your next game and gives you a better chance of survival. Typhon Hunter is "a tense game of hide-and-seek between a single survivor and five other players who stalk, hunt and hide in plain sight as shape-shifting Mimic aliens". If you've already got a copy of the game, you can buy it as a standalone DLC for $20.
