Amazon and Whole Foods said two-hour delivery for Prime members is now available in four more cities. Amazon

Amazon began offering the discounts to shoppers in select markets in May. They'll then be able to scan the Prime barcode at checkout to receive deals. Major cities like Dallas and San Francisco now support Prime Now grocery delivery from Whole Foods stores, as well.

The discounts, which take effect on Wednesday, apply to various products - such as fruit, meats, water and other snacks - and also include an additional 10 percent off various sale items. Whole Foods stores faced controversial food shortages just a few months ago.

"We've been delighted with the customer response to free two-hour delivery through Prime Now, and we're excited to bring the service to our customers in Baltimore, Boston, Philadelphia and Richmond", said Christina Minardi, Whole Foods Market Executive Vice President of Operations. The new Amazon Whole Foods delivery eliminates the delivery fee for Prime members who already pay the $119 annual membership fee, which more than 100 million people already do.

Prime members can use the free two-hour delivery from Whole Foods for orders over $35.

To get the deals, you go to a Whole Foods location in the designated states (or any Whole Foods 365 location), and look for the yellow discount stickers. The new states receiving the service are Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, and the southern halves of Nevada and California (the northern halves already had access).

With the expansion, Whole Foods deliveries through Prime Now are available in 14 cities nationwide.
