According to Politico, Sanford has launched an 11th-hour, $380,000 barrage of commercials going after state Republican Rep. In Nevada, Democrats face a contentious primary that could cost them the victory in November. Still, she'll face a hard general election against Rep. Kevin Cramer, R-N.D., the likely GOP Senate nominee. There are primaries Tuesday night in three of those seats.

Paul Pelletier, another Democratic candidate in the race who spent 27 years as a prosecutor, has taken a similar position, telling his hometown paper in MA that "there's enough evidence for the House to investigate". Former Rep. Cresent Hardy is the Republican frontrunner in a six-person race, while former Rep. None of the three Senate candidates appears to match that region.

In Nevada, Democrats are set to nominate Rep. Jacky Rosen to take on Republican Sen. If he fails to top 50%, it would catapult him into a one-on-one runoff.

Nevada's governorship is also up for grabs, with current Gov. Brian Sandoval, a moderate Republican, leaving thanks to term limits.
