Deontay Wilder Reportedly Agrees To Terms For Anthony Joshua Superfight

As evidence of the moneymaking potential, the Los Angeles Times'Lance Pugmire reported in May that Finkel and Al Haymon were prepared to give Joshua $50 million guaranteed if he was willing to fight Wilder in the United States.
Wilder now holds the WBC title, with Joshua holding the WBA, IBF and WBO titles, and the fight will see the victor taking all of it home. "Deontay has accepted his terms to fight in the UK", Finkel said.
According to Pugmire, Wilder's and Joshua's respective teams were quibbling over the location of the fight, with Wilder's camp wanting it in the US and Joshua's side preferring the UK. We made this offer about four weeks ago and I don't know if he's come back because he's heard we're close to closing the Povetkin fight or whether he wants the fight, but either way he's going to be getting a contract from us ASAP.
The location had proved to be one of the main issues in negotiating the fight over the past two months; Wilder's team offered Joshua a reported $50m (£37m) to fight in the United States but the 28-year-old Briton has remained adamant he wants to fight in the UK.
That offer did not meet the requirements of Joshua and Hearn, with the duo edging towards a fight against Russian contender Alexander Povetkin in recent days.
"We're not looking to be hard in the contract but again, there seems to be a lot of talking on social media so we'll see if it is all bluster or whether he knows that the Povetkin fight is in the balance".
'We will wait and see what happens when we get the contract back. It will take place in the United Kingdom either September or October according to Eddie Hearn. It's up to them to choose U.S. or UK.
Joshua-Wilder would likely sell out Wembley Stadium again.
The WBC champion, Wilder is 40-0 with 39 knockouts. Not only does he hold a majority of the prominent belts, his victory in a war over onetime long reigning division king Wladimir Kltischko established the fighter as the man to beat throughout the fight world.
"People like to trash talk, but I do it in a more fun way unless it gets personal and then I'll give as good as I get".
