An FBI agent who shot a man in the leg after dropping his gun while doing a backflip on a dance floor has been booked into a Denver jail.
The injured man, 24-year-old Tom Reddington, suffered a "serious, but not life-threatening" gunshot wound to his lower leg, McCann said.
The Denver District Attorney's Office confirmed to the Washington Post that Bishop turned himself in earlier this week and was charged with the Class 4 felony. The Denver District Attorney's Office has not filed formal charges against Bishop, but spokeswoman Maro Casparian said charges will likely be announced Wednesday.
Chase Bishop has been charged with second-degree assault and is in custody in Denver.
'If an additional charge needs to be filed after further evidence is received, we can file those charges then'.
He is being held in Downtown Detention Center in Denver.

In a video from the scene of the shooting supplied to Denver 7, the unidentified dancer recovers from his move and reaches for the pistol on the floor, apparently firing the gun in the process.
"We want to see the results of the investigation before we make any comments", Bishop's attorney, David Goddard, toldCNN after the hearing.
Bishop pounced on the weapon but accidentally squeezed off a single round.
Video from the June 3 incident shows Bishop landing a backflip at the Mile High Spirits bar, and reaching down to pick up the weapon that had fallen from his trousers.
"We sat down at one of those picnic tables - I heard a loud bang and I thought some idiot set off a firecracker", Reddington told ABC News later. "And that's when it clicked in my head, 'Oh, I've been shot'".
"It's weird. It's beyond freakish", Reddington said, describing the incident.
