Showers and storms will also fire up Wednesday afternoon along a cold front before moving out of our area around sunset.
Meteorologist Mark Larson says Sunday will be the last really hot and humid day for a while because there's heat relief in sight and as temps fall a bit, rain and storm chances will be rising. Highs may make a run at 90 by Saturday. By Wednesday hopefully the showers and storms will be more scattered and the sun will try to shine through.
